Name:
Nathaniel

Age:
Nineteen

Birthday:
The Ninth of September

Gender:
Male

Specialty:
Weapons' Master

Race:
Human

Hair:
Night-black, and slightly long.

Eyes:
Elliptical in shape, and a slate-grey in colour.

Body:
He is quite tall at around six feet, three inches, while his body is as thin as a rail, with long and strong limbs. He moves with a strange grace, and he strikes with the speed and deadliness of a dragon.

Home Village:
Gil’ead

Varden or Empire:
Varden

Parents:
Lord Ander and Lady Racquelle [Exiled and Deceased]

Siblings:
None

Character Personality:
Nathaniel tends to rely on logic and rational thinking, rather than his imagination. He has a certain point, when you think of application. Most of his available knowledge, comes from experience rather than reading manuscripts. Still, that doesn't mean he's illiterate. Far from it. You realy can't afford to be if you're nobility, exiled or not. What he doesn't know, he garners from others or situations themselves. In that vein, analysis is probably one of his sharpest and most useful tools, and his skill in it is great. He uses it in almost every instance, whether to gauge a person, make judgements, examine and describe the land surrounding.... whatever.

Emotionally, he is the epitome of calm. Whatever the circumstances, barring only select occurences, he maintains his cool, mostly through a very convincing impassivity. He finds it foolish to betray one's feelings on those that you have to deal with infrequently. In such conversations, he uses cold, hard, reason to change a persons perspective. (Quote: "Tantrums are absolutely pointless.") If he has to, that is. Another quality of his. Or perhaps I should say, other qualities of his. For it has to do with two things. Firstly, in essence, Nathaniel is a recluse, unwilling to banter with most. A select few are excepted. Secondly, he has a profound respect for each person's personality. Their way of thinking is unique, according to him, and what's more, they should all be sovereign to themselves. Forcing his opinion on others is not his style. Alternatively, he seeks to change the beliefs they stem from, thereby altering the persons perspective in the end.

When it comes to interaction with other people, Nathaniel prefers speech with only a few of those closest to him. It is only with them, that he'll "lighten up", and chatter about mundane things while slicing through a score of foes. As such, he works best, alone. That way he doesn't have to dictate what will happen to other people. He doesn't have to take on any responsibility for anything or anyone, other than himself. Unfortunately, he was born a leader, and those higher up in the Varden, have noticed...... Much to his disgust. So now, strategising is on of his main functions. And he's good at it.

Character History: Nathaniel's history is a bleak tale of sorrow and blood. Before he was born, his father, the Governor of Kuasta, was exiled. And why? Because he was suspected to sympathize with the Varden. Little did the Empire know, that he was one of the main reasons it had such a presence with the Empire itself. So, Lord Ander took his family and staff, and fled to an un-charted island with no presence of Galbatorix's forces. Gala, he called it and Gala it remained. There he remained, building a secret community of agriculture and mining. He helped provide Surda and the Varden with much of his crop. On the dawn of the first day of there residence on Gala, his wife gave birth to a son. Nathaniel.

He grew up on that hidden island, learning everything befoitting a Lord's son. Including swordsmanship and horsemanship, at which he excelled after a short period of time. He learned many other things as well, like mathematics and grammar. His tutor was a frail, old man who spoke in a quavering voice. For a time, he was happy and nothing could despell that. Then, on his eight birthday, disaster struck. The Empire had found the island, and mounted an assault, upon the old castle in which he and his family lived. Desperate to help, he joined the fighting, and actually killed two men, before he was restrained. Needless to say, his father was furious, and had him sent to a wealthy relative in Uru'baen. Both his parents perished in the attack, along with his frail teacher.

With them, his heart died. No more, did he joke, smile or cry. Neither did he trust or love any, except his guardians. It seemed that saving his life, had destroyed his ties to humanity. He did whatever tasks were appointed to him with a single-minded determination. There was little that interested him, other than the battles of increasing magnitude, between the Varden and the Empire. On his fourteenth birthday, already tall and strong. He took his leave of his guardians, with the gifta of finely tailored travellers clothes, a hardy bow and quiver, as well as a steel long-sword and an exceptionally well polished staff of Black Oak.

Since then, he has travelled and seen a great many things. Chief among them, the Dwarves, Elves and the Varden.

Character's good personality traits:
Presence of Mind, Emotional Stability, fairness and open mindedness.

Character's bad personality traits:
Mistrust, indifference and distance.

Weapons:
+ A dikatana, with an obsidian black blade, and a cross-hilt of black silver, with a single diamond contained within it. It's sheath is the same colour as the blade, with a white marking, in the center, with a single glyph of the "Liduen Kvaedhi" which reads "Wyrd Nangoroth" meaning Blasted Fate. As such, it appears to be a lost sword of the riders.

+ A dwarven horn bow, the size of a normal human bow.

+ A polished black staff, of sung oak. It was said to have been sed by King Evandar.

+ A long dirk, with a sky-blue diamond embedded in the hilt.

+ Numerous daggers, hidden upon his person.

+ Travelling

+ Turmoil
+ The Empire

Animal Companions:
A magnificent black stallion, that goes by the name "Hathsandyr".

Character's Physical Description:
Normally, he is clothed totally in black, in well woven travel clothes, suited for adventures. This is the impression most people have of him. A black-clothed master of death.

On the more formal occasions, he is seen in an equally well taylored tunic, with a high collar. Still in black, but, there is a silver pattern along his collar.

The only piece of jewellry he wears, is a ring with his familie's crest inlayed in a platinum and gold ring. He keeps it on the middle finger of his right hand.

Dreams for the Future:
None really, except one of solitude and peace.

Reason for Dreams:
The sky, and youth's energy.

Important things character has forgotten:
How to trust and love, among other details considered commodities by normal people.

[size0] Yay, somebody's jealous of me. LMAO Anyway, just find a character who you like, look for a wallpaper, and cut off a bit, suitable for a sig, and add some text. That's all it takes! :) Mind you, it does help, that my charrie doesn't have a dragon......

-To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.

-I've always wanted to cultivate modesty, but I've been far to busy.
