((OOC: Rayn only)) Allasar flew on the back of his silver dragon, Alor. They flew fast as they fled Gil'ead. Allasar had been rescued an improsined friend from jail, but matters became complicated as they were attacked by a group of soldiers outside of the city. Allasar's friend had been slain in the fighting. Allasar had killed all the soldiers, and fled the city, knowing that many more soldiers, and possibly the king himself would be on the scene. So Allasar decided to take refuge for a while in Ellesmera. He had been on the road a lot recently, and decided to return to the elven capital and spend some time there. It had been a while since he had visited, and he would enjoy spending time with many of the elves that he knew. His visits to Ellesmera happened several times a year, usually after a big fight. Alor's wings beat furiously as she flew as fast as she could. The force of her wings beating together caused a lot of wind around Allasar, causing his hair to blow all over his face. The sun shone strongly off Alor's silver scales, and Allasar had to avert his eyes several times to avoid being blinded. Finally, the pair reached Ellesmera. They landed just outside the elf city. Allasar walked up to the city's guard. "Eka aí friai un Shur'tugal." he said, revealing his gedwëy ignasia. The guard bowed, and allowed Allasar to enter the city. The rider walked along the trail and entered Ellesmera, heading straight for the palace. Outside the palace, however, Allasar saw a brown-haired, brown-eyed elf. The elf turned around, and Allasar recognized his old friend, the elven prince and fellow rider Rayn al Boha. Allasar bowed, greeting Rayn with the customary "Atra esterní ono thelduin." "Mor'ranr lífa unin hjarta onr." Rayn replied. "Un du evarínya ono varda." Allasar finished the greeting. |

Rayn was dressed in green clothes with silver leaf embroidery working up the arms of his green coat. He beamed at Allasar. "It has been a long time since I saw you last old friend." Rayn said with a smile. "What news do you have out side of our forests?, I have not ventured out for over a month, and that was to send a message to Raven Drown. You might know him, he is also a half elf." Rayn commented. He wandered what was happening with the Varden. Did they need his help?... The war seemed never ending. |

"Raven Drown..." Allasar repeated. "I've met him before." Five months ago, Allasar had been raiding an Imperial storehouse when he met the ranger doing the same. They had fought together when the storehouse turned out to be a trap, and had escaped with their lives, flying away on Alor. Since then, Allasar would once in a while help out Raven's spies, and oftentimes rescue them if their identities were uncovered. "What news do I have?" Allasar thought for a moment. "The Varden recently repelled a small attack. I arrived at the real end of the battle, but the Varden's forces heavily outnumbered their attackers and killed them. Many Northern cities are being attacked by Urgals and Kull, and there are rumors that Galbatorix is amassing forces at the border of the forest, in several locations." He paused for a moment. "You know me, I can't avoid a fight. I was forced to escape Gil'ead, and decided to fly here for a visit." |

Rayn grinned, "And you know me! I end up looking for fights witht the empire!" Rayn said with a grin. "And you will do no such thing!" The Queen of the elves said as she walked around the corner. Rayn bowed his head. "But mother... They are on the edge of our forests in force..." Rayn protested. He wanted to go and get Thane there and then. The Queen sniffed. She was wearing a light blue dress which trailed along the ground and also wore a small head band with gems dangling from it. "Rayn! Every time you wander off to battle, I hear storys of you being careless and diving into the enemy ranks swinging that golden sword of yours!" She said in a comanding voice which made Rayn feel like nothing more then a dirty child. "Mother! You know battles have been won because me and Link charged in swords blazing! We can't do much good watching the battle! We riders need to be on the front line!" Rayn insisted. "And what am I sopposed to do when you don't return son!" The Queen said her eyes watering. Rayn rolled his eyes. "Mother you know I will return, even if I am a little battered and bruised..." He said gentley... The Queen nodded. "Yes... I handed over to armys of the elves to you as soon as your father died... You must go to battle I guess... But not today!" She paused and smiled at Allasar. "Welcome back Allasar... I hope you haven't come across too much trouble on your adventures..." She said in a mild voice. Rayn rolled his eyes.Oh hes allowed to go on adventures! He isn't the prince! Bahh! I need to get back into the fighting! Rayn thought, feeling the handle of his sword. |

Allasar bowed low to the queen. "I've been fine." he said in the ancient language. Allasar always had the notion that Islanzadi thought him to be too careless. She seemed to disprove of his constant search for battles, but she was also grateful for that. Several times his quests had led to great things for the elves. Most recently, he had rescued a dragon egg from a shade, and given it to the elves. The egg hadn't hatched yet, however, and had been sitting in Ellesmera for around half a year. Allasar saw Rayn's eye-roll. He resisted from smiling, and maintained his expression. Rayn and him had much in common, especially their strive for adventures. Allasar knew Rayn well, and knew that Rayn would seldom listen to his mother's warnings. But he didn't want to displease the queen, and decided he would stay a little in Ellesmera before heading off with Rayn. |

The Queen nodded and wandered off around the corner with a smile. Rayn burst out laughing. "This is like being a young child all over again! I am so leaving with you when you leave!" Rayn said with a laugh. "Well Raven is sneaking into a fortress and disarming a weapon... I say when Raven sends word that the weapon is useless... We attack with an army of elves and get the Empire out of our forest!" Rayn said patrioticly. |

Allasar laughed with him. "Fine with me." he replied. "Just make sure I get a fair amount of kills, don't let the elves do it all." His mind raced back to all of his old adventures with Rayn, sometimes also accompanied by Link. They had wreaked a lot of havoc on the Empire, and Galbatorix kept trying and failing to kill them. "Remember that time we broke into old Galby's palace?" Allasar reminesced. "That time when the accursed king was on a trip in Dras-Leona?" |

Rayn grinned. "Yes I do! That was an adventure to tell the grand children!" Rayn said laughing. "I remember old Galby was in one hell of a rage! Bring those elves back! Alive if possible! Dead doesn't matter! two thousands crowns for each head!" Rayn wiped a tear of laughter from his eye. "We had to run for days!" He said he remembering the adventure. |

"Yep, that was the good old days. Remember him blasting a building in half in his rage, then summoning an adviser. He was all annoyed when the advisor didn't come, and ordered that advisor's execution, only later finding out that that advisor had been killed when Galby blew up the building." Allasar laughed. The king had been in such a rage, he had proceeded to blow up everything and everyone in sight. |

Rayn laughed. "He is a pure fool! A powerful one, I will admit that much... But a fool none the less." Rayn paused. "So there's an army building forts on the outside of our forests is there? Shall we rally the elves?" Rayn asked. Of course Rayn could just rally the elves anyway, but he wanted to hear what Allasar view on it was. |

"Maybe." Allasar responded, thinking it over. "But that would take time, possibly more than we have. It would be better to summon a group of spellcasters, and take them with us. Raising an army requires to much time, but magicians don't need to prepare much. Also, it will be easier to surprise the enemy if we take a small group. At best, no more than four or five spellcasters should go with us." |
