Hey I was just wondering if I could ask a question to anyone who has went through something similar to this. I stopped posting in all the Rps that I am in about two months ago and I thought that it was something temporary but as time went on it just got worse. I was wondering if there was something that I could do to get that spark back. I have loved Rping here ever since I started especially trying to become a dragon rider.... and Rping with Dain and Zuac but what do you do when something that you love is just too tedious. Do you think that this is something that will pass. |

Yes, it passes. This happens to me frequently, I suppose it does with everyone. I role play for the better part of of a year and then go inactive the rest of the time. Then I come right back. You just become bored of it after a while. Just like you get bored of a video game. |

Oh yes, I think everyone goes through that sometimes. I usually get tired of RPing when I have a lot of other things on my mind, like school. It's hard to keep RPing. I only get my spark back when I get involved in a really interesting RP. Then it's like the doors to my mind swing open, if you will, and writer's block vanishes. That always works for me anyway. I hope you get your spark back easier than I normally do, but it's certainly worth it. |

Well thank you, it is nice to know that it does. I have never really had writers block before so I was a little confused but I hope to get Rping soon enough, as soon as the doors to my mind swing open again. As you put it Airy. |

*laughs* Yeah, well, you try coming up with words for it. Call it writer's block: I can't think of a better way to put it. But you'll get better as you get more involved. Try to put some imaginitive ideas into your posts: you never know what direction you might go in next. |
